Phoa! What a week it has been – and what a treat to all fashion lovers who were in Malta this week. Saturday night was awards night 2017. This year I was honoured to be a Nominee and I did not win the award. Maybe some other year! I would like to say congrats to Jade Zammit Stevens. I’d like to say Thank You to all the followers for your messages over the weekend. I am feeling good and all excited to continue spreading information and high quality content, as that is what I do and that is what I believe that a blogger’s job is, not only posting pictures of ourselves but informing our followers of what is out there to be pursued, what events are happening, which people are worth following, which fashion brands have interesting looks. Of course, every blogger has his or her own style or lifestyle preference to blog about, as we are all unique, So I will keep working, writing and enjoying this journey through life!
I would like to once more say thank you also to my sponsors during this entire week of events:
For hair: Mixa’s Salon , 7 styles on 7 days – one more beautiful than the other.
For my Make Up: Natasha Polidano, Janice Baldacchino, Jilienne at Melita Health & Beauty
Jewellery: 202 Jewellery
Purses: Porto , Portomaso
Big Thank you goes to Gaetano Couture for this stunning gold dress I wore on Saturday night. Do you know that he personally hand sowed the embellishments and beading on the front part especially for me as seen in this video.
I felt ravishing in the dress. It is so beautiful and matched my skin complexion perfectly . I have caught the eye of some international fashion brands during fashion week, so although I didn’t win the Blogger award this time, it was an excellent PR platform to be at. So, that is awesome! I will be travelling again in the next few months to pursue more dreams and writing more stuff to share with you.
What am I doing with a microphone? Well, You do know that I am the TV presenter and producer of Malta TV, an online channel dedicated to highlighting Malta’s best events, culture, business, heritage, people and places of interest. I was commissioned by 202 Jewellery to cover this event and interview the key persons who were flown in to witness Malta’s largest and most prestigious fashion event. You will soon see the video on our Malta Facebook page and on YouTube!
My heart will keep pumping with adrenalin for another month or so. It is so nice to receive so much positive feedback from people even from this week alone. “I loved the rock chick look“, “my favourite was the pink dress“, “oh mine was the white gown by Gaetano”. Everyone enjoyed the effort and all the updates and they seem to have had their favourite looks. So Monday it is and I’m still feeling a little tired and I’m needing some extra concealer under the eyes today to look less tired.
On to the next chapter, back to business, back to reality.
Thank you to my friend Mark Molnar and my international group of friends for coming along to support me and for bringing these beautiful flowers to surprise me. You are the bestest!
Love and energy to all!
