For the 5th and final day of shows and exibitions of Malta’s Fashion Week that was held between Monday 22nd and Friday 27th February, I was in the mood for a bright pink maxi dress with gold embellishments. It has been such fun experimenting with different fashion, makeup and hairstyles this week!
To achieve this goddess-like look for the modern woman I went shopping for this beautiful warm Plein Sud pink dress from Luxury Outlet and paired it with my matching pink embroidered shoes and sandals from River Island. For a touch of glamour, the team of hairstylists at Mixas Salon ( who have been incredible with my hair the entire week) came up with this style with curls but having a parting at the front and some volume on the crown. I chose these yellow gold bracelet and earrings from 202 Jewellery. To finish off the look, these Michael Kors shades from the latest collection – love them so much!
These photos were shot in Valletta, Malta’s Capital City in the vicinity of the Siege Bell which is situated near the Lower Barrakka Gardens, and is a Memorial to the people who died during World War II. Malta was severely bombed by the Axis powers during the war. The bell was cast in Malta on February 10, 1992 by the world’s largest bellfounders John Taylor & Co Founders of Loughborough England. The monument was designed by Michael Sandle, a creative and important sculptor worldwide and assembled on the initiative of the George Cross Island Association to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the presentation of this award to Malta.
I thought being in Valletta, so close to it, that I would pay it a visit and photograph this outfit to show you all. Hope you enjoy these pictures captured by my talented friend and photographer buddy at the Malta Fashion Awards for the second-year running – Justin Ciappara . Thank you so much! Loved your company once again and I love how these shots turned out on this very windy day in Malta.
