Pictures speak louder than words sometimes. This week in Malta, alongside the fashion shows held at Fort St Elmo, the main hub for the Mercedes Benz Malta Fashion Week and Chamilia Awards 2017, there is also an interesting photography exhibition. It features 28 large format posters printed on high quality canvas and are on display throughout the entire Malta Fashion Week 2017.
In case some of you do not have the time to go and view these pieces in Pjazza San Gorg in Valletta, I thought of shooting this beautiful gown by Gaetano here to show you this exhibit too! To celebrate Malta’s presidency the exhibition boasts a collation of work from one fashion photographer from each EU member state including Malta represented by a photo by award-winning Kurt Paris.
The Look on Day 3 at #MFWA2017
This dress by Gaetano was the dress I wore on Day 3 of this week dedicated to fashion and the arts in Malta. I paired it with gold sandals and a gold purse and earrings and a ring from 202 jewllery. I love this dress because it is figure hugging and had a very low back embellished with gold leaf patchwork and lace. I felt a million dollars in it. Styled it by having my hair styled curly with flowy locks by Mixas Salon . I was inspired by Greek goddesses and I think we managed to achieve this look I had in mind.
Hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed preparing it at 1 am on Day 3 of Malta Fashion Week 2017. Stay tuned on all my social media channels for constant updates, videos and selfies!
