Hi All! I don’t know if you have popped into your closest 3INA Makeup store lately. When you do, you will be happy to discover a new collection out now with a unique and artistic packaging and it is called Art Freedom. As its name implies, its a new collection of dramatic, empowering make-up that knows no restrictions or boundaries.
3INA has teamed up with Marie-Sophie Lockhart of Lockhart Embroidery for the launch of this exciting collection. It is inspired by the fashion sense from 80s and this limited edition collection includes an amazing new bold eye shadow palette, long-wear lipstick, mirror nail polishes and powder pearls. Wowee! You have to get your hands of some of these to match with the spring/summer looks to die for.
WHO IS MARIE-SOPHIE LOCKHART?
In 2015, Marie-Sophie launched Lockhart Embroidery, and began using her embroidery skills to create one-of-a-kind denim pieces. Born in the Banlieues France, she began her fashion career on the sales floor of Colette. After travelling the world she eventually arrived in New York City where she met her husband, a Brooklyn based Tattoo Artist. They settled in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.
Her love for the funky DIY styles of the 60s and 70s gave her the inspiration to create folk designs using embroidery. Marie-Sophie counts Christian Dior, Stella McCartney and Barney’s Japan amongst her valued clients, and she has created unique embroidery for artists we know including Rihanna, Beyonce and Miley Cyrus. You can also find her pieces stocked at London boutique, Browns.
Here are some of the items I chose from the collection at The Point in Sliema and I photographed them in my hotel room in Trapani Italy on my recent trip. Love the eyeshadows, the gold lipstick and the highlighter that you apply directly onto the areas you want and dab them to get the desired finish. If you are in Malta and are interested to get your hands on them too, they are available at PAMA Shopping Centre, The Point and in Qormi too! Go crazy and get that disco feeling with #3inaArtFreedom
