Warpaint Teeth Whitening

Warpaint takes a universal approach to oral health and claims to have no chemicals or additives. With carefully selected 100% natural ingredients, Warpaint claims to whiten and polish teeth, strengthen the enamel and detoxifies your mouth. I have not asked a dentist what they think about it and I thought of trying it out in the comfort of my own home.

Earlier this month, I met with two lovely ladies who are the official Warpaint distributors in Malta and they kindly gave me a sample to review. So here it goes!

At First Glance

I love the marketing and the packaging of the product – black and white and comes in a tub with a star on it. The international marketing idea of ladies and gentlemen placing a black stripe on their face as if they are preparing to go for a warpaint game is also very cool. The marketing hashtag worldwide is #armedwithwarpaint.

I open the product and it is black – that’s because one of its main ingredients is activated coconut shell charcoal! Wow! My thoughts are …How can black stuff make my teeth white?

I follow the instructions for a week as per its leaflet and I used it every day especially before special events and photoshoots I had!

  • Dip a clean, wet toothbrush into Warpaint
  • Brush in small, gentle circles for 2 minutes
  • Keep your lips closed while brushing
  • Spit carefully and rinse really well

My opinion

The first time I was scared to use it so I used a little and I didn’t wash with another toothpaste after so I did not like the effect, to be honest.

Then I thought, I was not sure I was trying it properly if so many people are satisfied with the result, so I tried it again. I now put more product on the toothbrush and then after spitting the water and rinsing, I used another toothpaste to get that refreshing feeling.

I did see a better and more whitening effect second time round so I used it again and again with confidence. Yes I was then satisfied with the result. I did see more shine in my teeth and I would say they went one shade whiter. I also asked my husband to try it out and he felt the same way as me.

The only thing I would add is that it is a little messy and I would not take it with me when I travel or when I’m in a hurry and I’m already dressed, because I would not risk getting my outfit dirty or mess up my travel bag with all my make up and jewellery.

However, on the whole, it does get a thumbs up from me and I will keep using it every time I need that added shine or sparkle on my already white teeth.
